Roadschooling Yellowstone National Park

Roadschooling Yellowstone National Park

There was just so much to roadschooling Yellowstone National Park!!! But until I can get a full post together, here are some photos of our time at the the first ever national park! Note that this place is HUGE and even though we spent several days here, we felt like we could have easily spent at least a week.

Geysers and Pools

Rivers and Falls

Wildlife

Not pictured, because they were too far away (we saw them through binoculars): a wolf pack!

Real Life Travel With Kids, LOL

Here is one tip, if you are staying within the park (whether camping or via park lodging): Make sure to reserve spots at different zones of the park. We only had one campground for our few night stay, and ended up doing a TON of driving. In the future, we will plan to spend time in the different zones of the park, and make different reservations for where we will stay each night so that we don’t have to waste so much time on the road!

Grand Teton National Park

This is its own park, just south of Yellowstone. We only drove through here and there was a ton of smoke from the raging fires that summer in neighboring states, so this is the only photo we have. Even with the smoke, you can see how majestic they are! We definitely plan on coming back here – hopefully when there are no fires!
